The international week is all but over and so it ends the stoppages to the club season for another year. From the weekend onwards, the games come thick and fast for Celtic and there will not be time to take a breath before we’re ringing in the bells.

One man who will hope he’s done enough in the two games for Scotland to come into club contention is Greg Taylor. The defender has had a slow start to his Celtic career and after this international break he’s played more minutes for Scotland than his club.

Boli Bolingoli has been keeping the defender out of the side but when the Belgian went down with an injury, Neil Lennon called on Jonny Hayes to fill the gap instead of the left-back.

Having two wins under his belt for Scotland and two assists in the last week and deputising for both Kieran Tierney and Andy Robertson in the international squad, the player has staked his case for a place in the Celtic side. These fans think so too!

  1. He did have a great game, but we need more than one top left back but i would love to see Greg Taylor at LB and Boli Bolingoli playing left side attacking midfielder in home games and a holding left sided midfielder in big away games…

Both can play at LB and that gives us 3 who can play at LB and that gives us plenty options,,,,,
