Celtic take on Cluj on Thursday night in the Europa League with the bhoys looking for some level of revenge over the Romanian side after they were knocked out of the Champions League by them in August.
Dan Petrescu and his men shocked Celtic Park when they managed to get the 4-3 result on the night and send the Scottish Champions crashing out of the competition.
Cluj would only last until the next round before they too succumbed to the same fate – slotting into the Europa League while Celtic beat AIK 6-1 on aggregate to earn their place in the competition.
Now paired again, there’s an added spice to the Euro tie on Thursday.
We reported earlier today Cluj are sweating on two of their strikers being fit for the game at Celtic Park. Omrani and Traore both went off injured against Gaz Meta on Sunday.
However, Celtic fans have seen this play before and they are not buying it for a second. During the first encounter, Cluj and their coaching staff did their best to knock Celtic off their game and fans think that’s what’s happening again.
When we posted the potential injury news, fans on our facebook page were having none of it.
