CELTIC completed the comeback on Thursday evening – bagging a late winner after drawing level with less than half an hour to go in the game.

It was a special night in Paradise and the fans and players created an incredible atmosphere which got us over the line.

The Italian press have been having their say on the Lazio defeat and there’s a them throughout all the reports and comments we have seen since the game finished.

Mentioning Fraser Forster as the man who made sure Lazio got nothing on the night with one publication branding the goalkeeper ‘miraculous’. The Italian reporters are hanging their hat on that incredible save by Fraser Forster at the death as the reason Lazio got nothing from the game with an Italian Sky Sports pundit claiming they deserved more.

“Even undeserved defeat for the way it arrived. Lazio did everything by themselves, had so many opportunities to score but both for lack of malice and for Forster’s save did not materialise. Lazio must look beyond the result, because it is necessary to know how to separate the scoreboard from the performance. Lele Adani on Sky Sports Italy as cited by lalaziosiamonoi.it

“Lazzari’s goal in the first half is overturned by Christie and Jullien goals. Correa hits the post and Forster is miraculous with two super interventions that condemn the biancocelesti” – corrieredellosport.it

Elsewhere Forster got a 7/10 rating from sportmediaset.mediaset.it – “Prodigious with two interventions: first rejects Parolo’s sure-shot shot, then flies to Cataldi’s right at 95”.

Celtic top Group E after three games; finding themselves on seven points from a possible nine so far. It’s an incredible return for the bhoys so far and they will want to keep the momentum going in two weeks in Rome. The club will take on Lazio away before having Rennes at home then Cluj away in the final group game.
