According to HITC, Celtic and Liverpool are tracking the progress of Mohammed Daramy with both clubs mulling over a move for the player in January.

Mohammed, 17, is a right winger by trade but can also play up front and on the left hand side.

The player’s meteoric rise in the game has many people talking. The winger becoming the youngest ever player to play in the derby between Copenhagen and Brondby.

Mohammed has come through the ranks at Copenhagen and Bild claim the player is worth around £5m to Copenhagen if he were to be sold.

That kind of price would be enough to scare Celtic away. They’re only in the business of calculated risks and taking a punt on a £5m 17-year-old wouldn’t fit into their plans.

If the price is just paper talk and there’s a deal to be done then bringing in another young talented player to add to the growing list of top youngsters at Celtic would be a bad thing.
