NEIL LENNON has confirmed Moi Elyounoussi will play no part in the tie against Milan on Thursday night with the Norwegian staying at home.
The Celtic manager also confirmed Shane Duffy is a doubt after picking up a knock in training. The Irishman was likely to start on the bench and shouldn’t effect first team plans.
Moi’s exclusion means there’s a big chance Mikey Johnston could finally make his return from injury with the player eligible for the game. Mikey was entered into the Celtic B list back in September and can play if he’s fit and ready to go.
? NL: “Elyounoussi won’t travel. Duffy’s having his knee assessed, he picked up a knock today so we’ll see how he is. I’ll still put a strong team out and give some players some much needed game time as well.”

It’s good to hear the manager is set to give some fringe players a run out against Milan. There’s nothing to lose at this point by bringing youngsters into the fold and seeing how they do against top opposition.
Celtic only have pride to play for but the manager has his job on the line. We can firmly say a defeat to Milan will not be enough to tip the scales either way but getting the squad right for the St Johnstone game is an absolute must.
