Rangers beat Livingston 0-3 today in the SPFL and ruined their own celebrations with another league title winning pitch invasion. It is getting embarrassing and dangerous. The reason these scenes are allowed to repeat themselves is the SFA’s failure to act on them and impose proper consequences.

Rangers* fans invaded the pitch twice today. Having already lost to Livingston this season their joy is understandable but it’s still only three points. Nobody is handing out any trophies today.

It’s time the SFA took some real action, otherwise, the offense will be repeated over and over again. These so-called fans are a law unto themselves. In 2015 they stormed the pitch at Hampden and attacked Hibs fans after they lost the Scottish Cup final 3-2. So it’s not just jubilation that takes them onto the pitch, they feel entitled to go on the pitch win lose or draw.

When you think of some of the fines Celtic fans have faced in the last ten years for minor offenses. Maybe some fines were justified but they are nothing in comparison to a mob running onto a field of play before a game is even finished.
