Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou has revealed that there is still, even more to come from January signing Reo Hatate after another brilliant performance last night.

The midfielder made his 2nd appearance for the Hoops last night, adding to his man of the match display against Hibs by grabbing his first goal for the club, scoring an absolute screamer to give his side a first-half lead.

The 22-year old is still in the very early days of his Celtic career, but fans have been left excited at his early performances, and so they should be if Postecoglou’s latest claim is to be believed.

Speaking to the Scottish Daily Mail in the aftermath of the 2-1 victory over Hearts in the capital, the 56-year old revealed that there is still more to come from the talented young midfielder.

“Reo [Hatate] has got more, you know, he is just beginning.

“It’s not easy because he set a pretty high bar after the first game. But he is a very determined young man to reach the top.”

It looks almost certain already that Celtic have picked up another absolute bargain from the J-League with the addition from Hatate, putting in two brilliant performances since his arrival in Glasgow.

If there is still even more to come from the midfielder, then that is a scary prospect for a lot of players within the SPFL.

Hopefully, we can continue to see his impressive displays in the middle of the park, starting on Saturday against Dundee United.
