Celtic take on Aberdeen in the SPFL reserve league this afternoon at Cappielow and the front three could very well be the not too distant future of our first team.

There are very high hoped for the three bhoys who are leading the attacking line this afternoon.

Lewis Morgan, Daniel Arzani and Armstrong Oko-Flex all start the match for the reserve hoops today as they look to gain a victory over the Dons.

Morgan will be in the squad today to build up his match fitness ahead of his first team tilt which cannot be far off after recovering from an injury which he needed minor surgery for.

Arzani is a player who has been talked about a lot but Rodgers spoke last week of needing to build the player up with a lack of ninety minutes throughout the Australian’s career so far.

Oko-Flex is probably the furthest away from the first team out of the three but coming in from Arsenal with a good reputation and hoping to prove he can play as a frontman will be top priority for the youngster.

It’s also worth noting that Kundai Benyu will also start today’s game. A forgotten man at Celtic Park, the player looking to shake off his failed loan move to Oldham last season to try and get some momentum.

Today’s game kicks off at 2:30pm.
