FIR PARK welcomes Ange Postecoglou’s Celtic on Sunday.

Celtic are looking to carry on their winning run since the winter break, whereas Motherwell are in search of their first win since the resumption of the season.

After losing Tony Watt, the club’s top goal scorer, the Lanarkshire side have scored just one goal. This came in their 1-1 draw against St Mirren. Celtic have been in fine form in front of goal and will look to make this continue.

On Celtic’s last trip to Fir Park, the side left victorious, running out 2-0 winners. Postecoglou will be looking for much of the same on Sunday.

When is the game?

The kick-off is at 13:30 in Motherwell. The Ibrox club’s game commences two-and-a-half hours later at 16:00. Celtic will have the chance to extend their lead at the top of the table to four points, piling even more pressure onto their rivals.

Referee?

John Beaton will be the man in the middle. Running the lines will be Graeme Stewart and Ralph Gordon. The Fourth Official will be Gavin Duncan.

Early Team News

Celtic are set to have near fully fit team. Kyogo and Turnbull are still sidelined with their injuries, both are still weeks away from a return.

Maeda and Rogic are both in contention to start after arriving back from their international duties. Of course, Maeda came off from on the bench on Wednesday after arriving back in Glasgow that morning.

Callum McGregor’s situation is being monitored closely. If he is deemed unable to play, Nir Bitton has returned from suspension and will likely take his spot.

Postecoglou has not given Ideguchi a timescale after the player was injured during his full debut.
