Former Celtic striker Moussa Dembele marked his return to his parent club Lyon with a double in the French sides pre-season friendly against Bourg-Peronnas.
As reported by the Daily Record, the Frenchman could look to put himself back in the plans of current boss Peter Bosz after returning from his loan spell in the second half of last season with Atletico Madrid.
Reports in Spain suggest that Diego Simeone’s side could return with another loan offer for Dembele, which would include an option-to-buy and possible windfall for the Hoops with their reported sell-on fee.
Last season, he couldn’t have much impact for Atletico due to injury problems, but he impressed enough for them to want him a second time.
However, now it looks as though the 24-year old could be set to earn himself another chance in Ligue 1.
It will be interesting to see what the future holds for the talented striker and if he will remain where he is or be on the move once again this summer.
