Moussa Dembele has made a complete u-turn with the majority of Celtic fans after he left Paradise and headed to Lyon for a mere £20m last summer.

Luckily for Celtic, his French buddy Edouard picked up where he left off. It was after Brendan Rodgers left that Dembele got his redemption and the striker made it back to Celtic Park at the end of last season to watch his old team win a historic Treble Treble.

You would think Moussa would be licking his wounds after his team got beat 2-0 in Russia last night in the Champions League but instead he is tuned into the champions.

Celtic won 3-1 against Rennes after goals from Lewis Morgan and Ryan Christie in the first half. Mikey Johnstone scores Celtic’s third after his return from injury. The Hoops cemented their top the group status on Thursday evening. Moussa must have enjoyed the watch.

Dembele has a big target on his back for the upcoming January transfer window. Luckily, some of that transfer cash will find it’s way back to Celtic Park should some of the rumoured £70m transfer fees come to fruition.
