MOUSSA DEMBELE has posted artwork on his Instagram celebrating two years since he bagged his first Celtic hat-trick at the expense of The Rangers.

The Frenchman who left under a cloud just under two weeks ago has been trying to get back in Celtic fans good books after his social media antics lead to a head to head with Brendan Rodgers with the Irishman claiming there was no way back for the striker.

While everything is still a bit raw for supporters, some of the memories Moussa did give us will outlast his exit strategy over time.

It was two years ago today where the Frenchman would announce himself as Celtic’s top striker and set him on a path to becoming Celtic’s record sale.

With Leigh Griffiths set to start that fateful day against the Ibrox side who had beaten Celtic on penalties earlier in the year, it would be Moussa who would get the nod late on.

He would go onto score that famous hat-trick in a rout of the newly promoted Govan side.

The game was appropriately named the Dembelition Derby.

  5. He can go to hell, he may become a really international star, & I hope he does, because we will reap the rewards, but as far as he goes, he will never ever realize what he had, or what he did.
Remember Dembele, watch who you step on on your way up, because you will meet them again on your way down.
    Sad but true.
