BRENDAN RODGERS has told the media Moussa Dembele will not be rushed back for Celtic’s Champions League Group Stage opener against PSG on Tuesday night.
The Frenchman who has been on the sidelines since the start of the season is back in training but tomorrow’s game comes too early for him.
Luckily for Celtic, Leigh Griffiths has shown no significant signs of anything serious after he pulled up on International duty with Scotland last week and will most definitely lead the line for Celtic tomorrow night.
Leigh has a massive opportunity to do something special. Most people feel had Moussa been fit he would have been preferred to the Scot; he can now show what he’s made of in a massive game for the club.
Brendan Rodgers is likely to wrap Moussa in cotton wool until he feels he’s 100% – The talisman has seen very little football since April.
