Although it was not expected that the Socceroos would call up the 28-year old given his recent injury sustained at Easter Road last week, there is still that doubt given that international sides are always keen to have players available.

Celtic fans saw a prime example of that when Kyogo Furuhashi received a call-up for his international side during the international break, despite just recovering from a knee injury.

This means that Rogic can now get some rest and recovery from the hamstring strain, which will have seen him miss the Hoops last two fixtures against Ferencvaros and Dundee.

With the big run of fixtures coming over the winter period, it is crucial to Ange Postecoglou that he has the attacking-midfielder fit and raring to go.

Hopefully, the international break in the next couple of weeks should do the trick for Rogic and his fellow injured teammates at this moment in time.
