Chris Sutton took a major swipe at the mainstream media after Celtic took all three points against Ross County on Sunday afternoon. The bhoys winning 2-0.

The former Celtic striker has had to endure a week of utter nonsense being spoken about in the media after the Hoops lost the Glasgow Derby semi-final . As Chris points out, it was Celtic’s first domestic defeat in over 30 games and even then it was taken to extra time.

However, you wouldn’t have thought Celtic were a team very much in form this season with the way some have gone on.

We had Hugh Kevin’s talking about another Helicopter Sunday and Celtic’s bottle being questioned.

The hyperbole surrounding one defeat does a disservice to the entire picture and that is Celtic are top of the league with four games to go, holding a six point advantage

Here’s Chris putting some back in their place:

Celtic will now face The Rangers one last time this season and could effectively seal the title with a win next Sunday.

  1. Fantastic win today in what is a difficult venue.

Thought the supporters were excellent throughout the match. Is there a better chant than Sam Missiles! If there is I’ve yet to hear it. 3 stands singing it today. Magnificent.
