CELTIC FANS were confused about the omission of Timo Weah from not only from the starting XI on Saturday afternoon but his exclusion from the entire squad.

During Neil Lennon’s pre-match press conference on Thursday, the manager made no note of the American being out of action and Saturday morning the player posted a message in Instagram wishing this players luck against Kilmarnock sparking confusion.

The mystery deepens with the PSG loan star in attendance at Celtic’s player of the year awards last night.

Timo has been used sparingly at Celtic since Neil Lennon came into the job. He’s made one start and less than a handful of appearances from the bench which have all come very late in the game.

If the player is injured, nobody at Celtic or Timo is letting on which is very strange. Timo is due back at PSG this summer and was a big doubt for the Scottish Cup final because he likely will be called up the American Unders 20’s squad for this summers World Cup.
