OLIVIER NTCHAM is yet to start a game for Marseille since joining the club in the January transfer window. We’ve not hit march and the Celtic loan star is toiling at the French club.

Olivier’s move could not have gone any worse at the beginning; André Villas-Boas took the signing as major disrespect from the board when he was clear he didn’t want to sign Oli. It resulted in the manager tendering his resignation and it being accepted by the Marseille hierarchy.

Since then, the Celtic midfielder has played a grand totally of 78 minutes for the club.

This is where it would be beneficial to have a better understanding of what deal Celtic cut with the French side.

There have been many deals lately which have seen players move to other clubs on loan with an OBLIGATION to buy in the summer. All we know so far is Marseille have agreed on a price for the player to land Oli on a permanent deal this summer.

However, if there’s no obligation to buy in the contract then the player could end up back in Glasgow by the summer.
