CELTIC’S Kristoffer Ajer became the latest Celtic casualty as the bhoys played out a frustrating 0-0 draw against Livingston.
The Norweigan started the match in front of Filip Benkovic because of the artificial surface.
Brendan Rodgers did not want to risk the Croatian on the plastic surface, especially when Benkovic is managing a slight calf problem.
Ajer came in for the £12million Leicester loanee and did well before and disaster struck when the big defender went to head the ball in the Livingston box.
There was a coming together and the back of the Livi player’s head cracked Ajer’s face and it looks to have broken the youngster’s cheekbone.
Broken cheekbone for Ajer there I think ? pic.twitter.com/lnynVnn4MJ

Celtic have already got a long list of injuries and Ajer will be in the treatment room alongside the likes of Scott Brown, Nir Bitton and Leigh Griffiths.
It looks a very sore one and we hope the big man recovers quickly from this nasty knock.
A sore one right enough, best wishes big yin.
Can’t find anything good about our play today, main reasons are we will not play with 4 players 4 square in the box area they also , have to defend teams are trying this systeem on us and hit on the break ,with 4 square attacks and a out winger having a ,free hand at delivery ,today’s game with our slow build up gives teams time to double up or treble up on our likely player going forward or they step out catch us of side . with difficult teams we should only play. through. The middle of the park
Best wishes Chris. Get well soon.
