NEIL LENNON has addressed Leigh Griffiths place in the Celtic side with the manager making note the amount he’s been talked about in the press.
The Celtic striker came back from a long time out the game at the start of the season and has found it tough going to attain the standards requires to start many games. Injuries haven’t helped the matter.
With Celtic signing a striker the player’s place in the team has come under more scrutiny and Leigh didn’t help himself posting on social media.
However, the Celtic manager has assured the Celtic support Leigh still has a place at the club and has been working hard.

The striker could be in the squad for Celtic’s game on Saturday night against Partick Thistle. He’ll likely start on the bench with Edouard leading the line from kick off.
