NEIL LENNON has ruled out the possibility of Leigh Griffiths heading out on loan this summer after a tenuous link between the player and Aberdeen emerged.

The Celtic manager said there would be no chance the player would be leaving on loan and that he’s currently a few weeks out from being considered for first team action.

Lenny was speaking ahead of Celtic’s Saturday evening game against Dundee Utd on Saturday. The bhoys will be back in domestic action for the first time since the Kilmarnock draw. The club had to sit idle while other teams in the league played, due to Boli Bolingoli’s selfish jaunt to Spain at the start of the month.

The bhoys need to get back to winning ways and while there will be no Leigh Griffiths, Celtic will be able to call upon Albian Ajeti who could make his league debut at Tannadice.

It will be an interesting game after Dundee Utd’s positive start to the season.

  1. Hoping we run all over United tomorrow, as we are fitter , and can pass the ball far quicker. If we play anywhere near or quick passing game, we will run away with it. Forecast? United 1. Celtic 5. Hail Hail.
