These last two games didn’t destroy our season but it has compounded it.

Four points dropped after a needless act of self-harm by flying from Glasgow to Dubai during a global pandemic.

Celtic have been run like a tinpot club this season with no accountability from the manager to the boardroom.

Tonight, the inquest should be well underway and before we reach any defining conclusions, we already know this manager is done at the club. There should be no reason for Neil Lennon to return from self-isolation to Lennoxtown. If he’s not going to be the manager next season then it’s time to go.

Put in a temporary replacement to see out the season and get our ducks in a row for next term.

Neil Lennon HAS to do the right thing here and accept he’s taken this club as far as he can and the only way forward is his departure.

Over and above that, the structure of the club must change and Peter Lawwell must be relieved of some if not all of his powers.

We need a new direction and regardless of what Neil Lennon has done before, it doesn’t protect him from this season’s omnishambles.

  1. Line up today should have been good enough to beat any other SPFL side bar Sevco.
As well as showing how overrated the 1st team regulars who played this week are, the last 2 home games have also shown that the young fringe players are also nowhere near good enough-if they lack the ability to step in then they need to be released.
Total restructure of whole club including youth set-up is needed now or why would they expect fans to renew ST?

    • Most are making their debuts. They should have been blooded last year when things were going well so they were ready for events like this.

  2. As said much earlier in the season, the time to get a total new outlook for next season. Is now. Get them in before 12 games to go. And see how everybody does. Then before preseason get everyone on the same level (well the ones that have made the cut) And everybody else can start looking for new teams to take them on. As this year has been the final turd blockage in the sewer pipe. Flush out all the shi7e and start a fresh. As this year had eclipsed last year. Or any other year, when Celtic relied on spending Fuc&ing nil. This penny pinching, biscuit tin mentality has to end. Or next years season at Paradise, will be as full as this year’s stadia. So put up the funds, before another fan walkout with their season card cash. As protest does not work, even cheering the players did not work either. That problem has to be repaired internally. And not the fans to blame. Where has the fight gone? Common sense time is now.
