It has been reported this afternoon Neil Lennon will KEEP his job for now and has again been given assurances he will be given time to turn things around.

It’s an incredible turn of events which must have Tony Mowbray wondering why he got the push after a 4-1 defeat to St Mirren all those years ago.

The list of failures this season is incredible:

Champions League Exit

Europa League exit after four games.

No shots on target during a Glasgow Derby defeat.

Two hammerings by Sparta Prague.

Embarrassing League Cup Exit to Ross County at Celtic Park.

More dropped points which put us 13 points behind our Glasgow rivals.

Yet today, SunSport report the manager has been told he has the backing of the board.

We have been told by a source at the club they expect Neil Lennon in charge for the Scottish Cup Final on December 20th against Hearts.

It appears the board have tunnel vision and wont to give Neil Lennon the opportunity to make history while simultaneously letting this season pass us by.

It’s an incredible stance to take. The board will feel this more than most in the summer because Celtic fans are ready to go to war with the club for their inaction and they will vote with their wallets.
