NEIL LENNON was on form this evening as he spoke on Clyde Superscoreboard as the club clinched their ninth title in a row.

The presenter Gordon Duncan did ask the Celtic manager about the whole asterisks debate surrounding the title, promoted by resident Rangers pundit Alex rAE.

I don’t think they were ready for his reply:

“An asterisk implies some kind of cheating or irregularities. We’ve done nothing wrong and all the clubs voted for this.” Lennon retorted (We’ll post the podcast when it drops so you can hear for yourself)

Celtic went thirteen points clear of their nearest rivals before the shut down and it’s been very disappointing to see grown adults arguing that Celtic don’t deserve their title.

There was eight games to go and Celtic were so far ahead having only dropped ten points in their previous thirty games.

It’s a momentus day for the club and these questions actually make us laugh more than anything. What a response by our manager though.

Celtic have done nothing untoward here and are a victim of circumstance.
