NEIL LENNON has cancelled a trip to the middle east, presumably to do punditry work for BeInSports as the speculation surrounding his interim appointment as Celtic manager intensifies.
The stunning news that Brendan Rodgers is in talks with and is expected to become the next Leicester manager has rocked the Celtic fans to their core and the story is moving very quickly at this point.
Neil was expected to do some work as he freelances after leaving Hibernian at the end of January.
With Celtic scrambling to put things in place the Irishman seems like the logical choice to steady the ship in the interim at least.

Celtic have a game against Hearts tomorrow in the SPFL where they could be facing their first match without Brendan Rodgers. It would be highly unlikely Lennon would be in the dugout for that game if he does come in as he would have had no time with the Celtic players ahead of the tie.
