Speaking to CelticTV, Neil Lennon has confirmed he and the club will sit down with Kieran Tierney after two failed Arsenal bids.
The Celtic defender hasn’t once indicated he wants to leave Celtic but the Irishman is keen to refocus the player after a summer of speculation to this point.
Lennon says the deal not happening may be difficult for Kieran to get his head around which might give some insight into what the defender is thinking. Celtic have always been in a strong bargaining position when it comes to the full-back. The Scottish international has a contract until 2023 and Celtic aren’t in a hurry to sell.
Kieran is only 22 and has plenty of time to get a big move elsewhere when the time is right and a club meets his valuation.
Neil Lennon confirmed the status of the Arsenal interest as well as talks with the player.
