NEIL LENNON confirmed there’s one big injury concern ahead of Motherwell’s visit to Celtic Park on Saturday as he took questions from the media on Friday afternoon.

The Celtic manager revealed Ryan Christie is a doubt for the game after rolling his ankle in training. Neil Lennon did mention he would give Ryan every chance to make it, but it looks unlikely.

“Ryan Christie is a big doubt, he rolled his ankle, we’re going to give him as long as we can but he’s a doubt for tomorrow,” Neil Lennon told CelticTV.

Ryan has had his critics this season but he has been played out of position for a large part of the season.

James Forrest being injured so early in the season meant Ryan has had to be pushed out wide when that’s not his natural position.

Celtic will have to look to their squad to fill the gap left by Ryan, but because he hasn’t been as influential as he’d like to be, he won’t be a massive miss.

The Bhoys take on Motherwell, hoping to get back to back wins in the SPFL. It’s all about professional pride and making sure they can get as many points on the board between now and the end of the season.
