NEIL LENNON has told Celtic fans Callum McGregor has trained this week and could potentially feature in Celtic’s away day to Dundee.

McGregor has been out since February after going down with a hamstring injury and is yet to feature under Neil Lennon. This could all change come Sunday if the coaching staff deems McGregor fit enough to get in on the action.

Celtic have been crippled with injuries this season and Callum McGregor being out has been one of the major blows of the season.

Speaking ahead of Sunday’s game, Neil Lennon told CelticTV He’s back in training and could feature on Sunday. its a great boost for the team.”

Celtic have been missing a creative spark and really missed McGregor’s presence against Aberdeen last Saturday.

Neil Lennon will be relieved to get the midfielder back and hopefully, he can make an impact before heading off on international duty. Callum was called up earlier this week despite his injury with his recovery to be assessed by the Scotland coaches next week.
