NEIL LENNON didn’t have many negatives to take away from Saturday’s performance at Hampden. Scoring five goals and booking their place in yet another cup final.

The only negative would be Boli Bolingoli having to come off at half time during the win with the player pulling up with a hamstring injury.

Neil Lennon spoke after the match they took the Belgian off due to the injury and he will now be assessed ahead of the Lazio game on Thursday.

“He tweaked his hamstring so we’ll have to assess him and see how he is. He may be a doubt for Thursday now.” Lennon told CelticTV.

It would be a major blow to Celtic if the left-back didn’t make the trip to Rome to take on the Italian’s but you can’t take any chances with a hamstring injury.

This would leave the door open for Jonny Hayes or Greg Taylor who is eligible for the trip to come in for Boli on the night.

It would be quite the Euro baptism of fire if Greg Taylor was to come in just a week after making his domestic Celtic debut. Jonny Hayes has been relied upon a lot by Neil Lennon – could he go to that well if Bolingoli doesn’t make it?
