NEIL LENNON sat in front of the media this afternoon after going twelve points clear at the top of the SPFL and was obviously in high spirits.
The bhoys went behind early on against Kilmarnock, but after that, there was only ever one team who was going to win.
Celtic were relentless in possession until they made the breakthrough and got the equaliser through Kristoffer Ajer, Edouard got in on the act before half time to make it 2-1.
A goal from Leigh in the second half confirmed all three points for the bhoys and going further clear of their nearest rivals after another slip up by Steven Gerrard’s men.
The result was all the more impressive when you take into account two of our top players missed the game through injury.
Scott Brown and James Forrest were not in the squad and after the game, Neil Lennon delivered an update on their status ahead of the home leg against Copenhagen.
🎙️ Neil Lennon: "I'm hoping Forrest and Brown will be fit for Thursday and we'll assess that over the next few days."
