NEIL LENNON has made the admission he would have NO hesitation in putting Karamoko Dembele into his Scottish Cup squad this weekend after impressing on his debut.

It’s the question that has been on a lot of Celtic fans lips this week after the 16-year-old made his top-flight debut.

It appears as if there’s a good chance Karamoko could feature in the matchday squad come Saturday and could play a part in the final.

Speaking to CelticTV ahead of the weekend’s game, Neil Lennon reserved high praise for the young Celtic starlet.

“Karamoko, no issue with playing him. He was outstanding and he gave everyone a lift.

Asked if he was in contention for a place in the team Lennon said – “Very much so, he’s training this week, he’s fit and available and he’s certainly put himself forward for a selection for the squad.

“His intelligence was of a very high order, to come in at 16 years old and have a debut like that was pretty spectacular.

“I have no hesitation bringing him into the squad this week.”

Celtic will need to be at their best on Saturday if they want to bring home their third consecutive treble. The bhoys know what’s at stake and will have a hungry Hearts side desperate to lift silverware.

There’s probably not much chance of Karamoko starting the final but there’s a big chance he could see some sort of action on the day. Exciting times.
