NEIL LENNON has given Celtic fans and the players a major boost this morning as the Celtic manager delivered an update on Kieran Tierney.

The left-back has struggled with injury for a large part of the season and has looked uncomfortable in games since he has made his return in 2019.

“KT is back in training which is great news” Lennon told CelticTV.

“We have no fresh injuries from the weekend, so having Kieran back is a boost.

“He’s looking well in training and we’ll assess him in the next few days”

“If he’s fit then we’re very strong going into the game.”

There were fears Kieran’s season could be over with the player being sent to a specialist last week to assess him. With the number of games the young player ha splayed in the last three years, his body is paying a price.

To have him back for the last four games of the season would be huge and especially for the Scottish Cup final. Kieran will be desperate to try and help his teammates make history with a treble treble.

First things first and if he’s fit enough to go at Pittodrie then the bhoys look to get over the line in the SPFL.
