NEIL LENNON took part in his first press conference since returning to the club as interim manager yesterday and had a word of warning for anyone looking to follow Brendan Rodgers out the door.

The Irishman is set to continue what Brendan Rodgers started and hopefully make the best attempt at going for the treble treble. However, the question was posed to the new Celtic manager about potential outgoings if Brendan tries to come in for any of the Celtic players this summer.

Speaking about the potential situation of people wanting to reunite with their former manager, Lennon told Celtic TV.

“Once you leave Celtic it’s not the same… if they are thinking of leaving I’ll make them think twice”.

Already we have seen a number of players linked with a move to join Rodgers at Leicester with big money being talked about.

Neil is correct in what he’s saying and he knows that from experience, leaving the club as a player and manager.
