Neil Lennon is going to be without a few players tomorrow through injury and suspension.

You have the long term injured but on his way back Hatem Elhamed who won’t feature, neither will Mikey Johnston. Over and above that you have Olivier Ntcham out through injury and Ryan Christie suspended for the home tie.

This has left the door wide open for Tom Rogic to walk through and stake his claim for a first team place for the rest of the season. With Christie bossing the first half of the season especially and Ntcham kicking on since the New Year, Tom has had very little opportunity get back into the side properly since his injury.

Thursday night could be his chance and when asked if the Australian would play in the match, the Celtic manager was very positive!

“Tom’s got a great chance of playing.” Lennon told SunSport.

“I thought he played really well against Kilmarnock at the weekend. He’s a top player when he’s on form.

“He’s just had an ongoing issue with his knee and with the form of some other players he’s found it difficult to get regular game time.

“He’s champing at the bit to play and he is certainly in our thoughts.

“He’s a great lad. He’s very, very talented and we’ll need a bit of creativity, maybe someone to unlock the door, and Tom’s that type of player.”

He might have telegraphed it but it would appear Tom will start unless Neil Lennon has a change of heart on his system.
