Reports today claim Neil Lennon has been put on a list of potential replacements for Scott Parker at Fulham with the club heading back down to the Championship this summer.

The Cottagers hired Claudio Ranieri to help spearhead their EPL survival this season but sacked the former title winning manager just 106 days into the job. Scott Parker was put in temporary charge of the club, much like Neil Lennon has at Celtic.

With the London club looking at their next move so they can bounce straight back up at the first time of asking the report claims Neil Lennon is in contention.

SunSport understands the already-relegated Cottagers have placed the stand-in Celtic manager on a list of candidates to succeed Scott Parker.

Neil Lennon wants the Celtic job and that will be top of his thinking. Right now, he’s focused on getting the club to a potential treble treble. At the end of the season Celtic will sit down and assess their options, but nothing has been decided to this point.

It will be flattering to Neil if he is on a shortlist of names to replace Ranieri on a full time basis but the Irishman knows the grass isn’t necessarily greener down south with his stint in charge of troubled Bolton not going well.
