NEIL LENNON has called James Forrest a massive asset for club and country declaring he seen this coming in his younger days.

The Hibs his and former Celtic manager spoke about having James at Celtic for five years – four as the manager of Celtic and one under developmental.

The Irishman said he was clearly the standout in the Celtic developmental team at the time.

Lenny was the one who gave James his debut for the club against Motherwell and it was a scoring debut at that!

James has hit a stunning vain of form for club and country; managing 12 goals in his last 11 for Celtic and Scotland.

The midfielder returns to club action at Hamilton today and the Celtic fans will be hoping for more of the same from the wee man.

Having just signed a new deal with Celtic and Brendan Rodgers commenting on James never ever looking like he wants to leave Celtic the gaffer has put it out there that James could become one of Celtic’s most decorated players in the club’s history.
