For the supporters who would like to see Neil Lennon move on this summer, look away now.

The Celtic manager has been under pressure since September last year with many believing he should have walked after a string of disastrous results which all but blew the ten.

A new CEO will come in this July to implement a new vision and a way forward for the club and the way the Celtic manager is talking — it sounds as if he’s not been told he’s out of a job.

Speaking about potential signings, the Celtic manager said it all starts now and he’s been talking with Peter Lawwell about improving the team as well as helping to facilitate the transition.

“It all begins now. The preparations are ongoing.

“We’re talking about the team. Peter Lawwell is putting things in place for the new guy coming in.”

If Neil Lennon is here beyond the summer, it has the potential for Celtic to lose season ticket sales.

A lot of fans want a new direction and believe Neil Lennon hasn’t got what it takes to implement a new vision. A failed regime taking on a new setup, under a new CEO seems backwards.

  1. Rubbish as per usual from NL, since PL has been at the club name me one year we have been organised and ready for Europe or the next season?, for me NONE, so why should we believe it’s going to happen in the year PL leaves ?.
More NL trying to save his job ( Neil it’s to late to try now , the damage has been done under your stewardship).?

  2. Lennon should have little if any input to the new season. If the incoming CEO states he is going to listen to the fans then NL will not be in future plans.
However the lack of activity from the board speaks volumes and everybody in management thinks they are untouchable, as nobody apparently cares from Desmond at the top,.

  3. Lack of ambition if Neil Lennon and his side kick John Kennedy stay then it tells the fans there not interested in what they think .Just keep paying your season tickets that’s all celtic want .
