NEIL LENNON was in attendance at Lennoxtown yesterday as the reserve side beat Hibernian 4-1 to reach the Reserve Cup Final.

The Celtic manager allowed new signing Patryk Klimala and Ismaila Soro to get game time while there was a return to action for Hatem Elhamed after nearly three months out.

It was a good outing for the whole team but the stand out on the day had to be Karamoko Dembele, the midfielder scored two very different but equally sensational goals to help the team to victory.

Neil will certainly have been given food for thought and he’s shown in the past 12 months he will give youth players some first team game time if they earn it in these types of games.

The ideal scenario would be Celtic tiring up the league as soon as possible to let these guys get some extended game time but in the mean time, it would be great to see Karamoko make the Scottish Cup squad at McDermid Park on Sunday.

The midfielder was on the bench for last season’s final against Hearts, although he never got on. Could he make an impact in Perth?
