NEIL LENNON has arrived at Lennoxtown to finalise a sensational return to the club in the most dramatic of circumstances.

According to RecordSport the Irishman has been sounded out to become Celtic’s interim manager until the end of the season with Brendan Rodgers deciding to end his time at Celtic in the most untimely manner.

Neil Lennon left his post at Hibernian less than a month ago and will be tasked with steadying the ship at Celtic where he has previously won three titles.

There is still a title to be won and a treble to be chased which is the most bizarre part of this scenario.

Usually manager upheaval at Celtic means something has gone wrong and there needs to be a rebuild. With Neil, he will have to continue Brendan Rodgers’ work and hope the players won’t be too effected by his departure.

We’re in for a wild ride until the end of the season.

  1. Brendan must think he is the big swinging dick, taking over a club were 6-8 th. . place keeps you in a job ,he has also given up on European football , best of luck to him

  2. I understand brendan leaving because of his disharmony with the board, but to leave at this time is unforgivable where is his loyalty to the fans who have been loyal to him, what did they do to deserve this sort of treatment from a man they showed the up most respect for and would have continued to do so had he left at the end of rhe season. For what he done for the club i wish him all the best, for what ge done to the people that count the fans i hope he doesn’t live to regret it. Good luck.
