NEIL LENNON has given two of his main stars the night off and left them behind in Scotland as he takes the rest of the squad to Estonia.
The team flew out yesterday with two very notable absentees in Callum McGregor and James Forrest.
The duo have played all three games of the campaign so far and with the score line at 5-0, Neil Lennon has opted to rest them ahead of Saturday’s opener against St Johnstone.
Callum McGregor player more minutes than anyone last term and there’s plenty of talent in James Forrest’s position looking to make a name for themselves.
It’s a good call by the Irishman and shows our depth.
Celtic kick off in Estonia tonight at 6pm and the club announced yesterday evening the game will be on CelticTV after Premier Sports didn’t pick it up. The support will be looking for a solid away win as the bhoys get ready to return for flag day.
