NEIL LENNON has revealed he could throw an Ibrox curveball by including new signing Mortiz Bauer in the matchday squad for the first Glasgow Derby of the season.

Celtic’s newest signing will train Thursday, Friday and Saturday before Neil Lennon takes a view on how to proceed but told the media in his pre-match press conference he would have no qualms selecting Moritz.

Speaking to CelticTV he said:

A baptism of fire at Ibrox should not be taken lightly and Neil Lennon must be sure Moritz can handle the pressure in his first game.

There’s no word yet if Hatem Elhamed will be playing at Ibrox at the moment and if the Celtic manager doesn’t want to play Ajer out of position then it would make way for a fiery debut for the on-loan defender.

Celtic have until Monday evening to strengthen their squad with the club still in the hunt for a left-back.
