NEIL LENNON has given Celtic fans some hope that there will be signings in before Monday night’s transfer deadline speaking before the St Johnstone game today.

With no deals expected today, the club look like they will be active on deadline day and will look to bring in one or two players.

When it comes to outgoings, Neil Lennon also appeared to be confident he’s expecting a quiet day with the Parkhead exit door sealed shut until at least January when he spoke to RecordSport.

“I’m pretty confident that we’ll keep what we have and just look to add one or two if we can.”

Lennon did say he can’t give names because he wasn’t sure himself: “I can’t, I don’t know myself!”

On Edouard: “He’s not going anywhere. The rest of them aren’t going anywhere.

“I just showed the fixture list after the break to the players, and there are some fantastic games.

“That’s something that this club can give that other clubs can’t – why would you want to leave now when we’ve got so much to look forward to?”

Celtic have looked lethargic and bereft of ideas this season but have managed to get results and points on the board. Fans are still waiting to see the players and team in full flight and it is a concern.
