Neil Lennon has backed an idea which would shake up the fixture list and potentially see Glasgow Derbies in quick succession next season.

We’re not even sure what kind of league set up we’ll have at the moment with league reconstruction on the table. However, Neil Lennon is all for the powers that be putting any Glasgow derby to later in the year so they have the best chance of having supporters in the ground for the games.

This could mean no Glasgow Derbies in the first half of the season followed by one a month in the second half.

Nothing about next season is going to be normal, at least to start with. The games behind closed doors and the Constance testing of our players who could drop out if they test positive for the virus mean we’re going into the unknown a little.

Neil Lennon believes there’s value to pushing back the derby fixtures”

“I think that’s what everyone would want.” Lennon told SunSport.

“Everyone associated with the game would want that and the clubs would want that.

“I’m sure it would suit the TV companies as well.”

Would you go along with that?
