Celtic boss, Neil Lennon has pleaded with fans and said another protest is not what is needed for the hoops to get back to winning ways, come Sunday’s game against St Johnstone at Celtic Park,

As reported by Clyde One, the Northern Irishman has told supporters he hopes that come Sunday we can celebrate being back to winning ways but hopes there is not demonstration before or after the game on Sunday.

“Well, hopefully, they will be celebrating a victory because that is what we will be trying to do. As we always do.

“I touched on what I thought of it on Sunday and if it is going to be reminiscent of Sunday, it is not what we need or what the players need at the minute.”

Lennon touched on the matter fatter being asked, due to a protest taking place just last week at the stadium.

Last weeks demonstration turned a little bit nasty in the end, with it being reported that possible objects were thrown.

I understand why fans have gone down to the stadium to show frustration but it cannot turn into violence with players cars being chased out of the stadium.

Reading off of social media, I expect there will be another similar protest taking place, against the actions of the board for keeping Neil Lennon in his position, which is unfortunate to see but sadly fans voices aren’t being heard.
