NEIL LENNON has confirmed Patryk Klimala will be in the squad this evening for the game against Partick Thistle after the player signed for the club this week.
Klimala went straight into training at Lennoxtown with his new teammates and Neil Lennon apparently has no qualms about playing the striker at some point during the game.
The Polish frontman hasn’t played a competitive game of football since December 22nd and will be getting used to a new training regime and new surroundings – throwing him in would be a big call by the manager.
“It’s good to get Patryk signed. He’s trained the last couple of days and will be in the squad for Thistle.” Neil Lennon told CelticTV.
“We had to move now as there was a lot of interest and he could go on and do good things.
“Patryk looks a good type, a hungry type, and he has a good personality.
“You learn from your experiences and you mature from them.”
The game against Partick Thistle will present the first opportunity for the team to get straight back to winning ways after the disappointing Glasgow Derby defeat at the end of the year.
The bhoys must come out of the traps hots and ready to show what they can do. Before the Glasgow Derby, this team were on an 11 game unbeaten run in the league and we hope a similar run can be built at the start of 2020.
Right now it’s all about the Scottish Cup and Celtic being among the clubs in the next round as they look to win the trophy for a fourth consecutive time.
