CELTIC have been sent crashing out of the League Cup by Ross County this afternoon and the saddest part about it – nobody is really surprised.

The board have been asleep at the wheel, the manager has not done the right thing and walked away after the FIRST Prague hammering in the Europa League.

Not having a shot on target against their bitter rivals at home in the derby.

Out of Europe with two games to be spare.

Out of the Champions League in the second qualifier.

We’ve said it several times this season but surely, Neil Lennon can’t survive this.

This is an Inverness Caley moment, this is embarrassing. Most managers would have been sacked by now, Neil Lennon has been given so much time to turn this around and nothing is happening.

35 cup wins without defeat has come to an end in the most painful of ways. Our season looks bleak at best and it’s time for a change.

The manager has won so much for us but this is a bridge too far. He needs to do the right thing and walk away. He will always be considered a Celtic legend but it’s just not working.

  1. We had it too easy for 9 Years on the Bounce. If We Don’t Get The Finger Out,It’s only going to get Worse.Neil Lennon is and always was a Yes Man.This is the most humiliating Thing to Happen.Reality is these players aren’t deserving of wearing Those HooPs.This should’ve been dealt with ages ago

  2. This has got to be the last straw for Lennon how Lawwell can stand by him and let him keep his job is utterly pathetic,he is cheating us Celtic supporters big time.If he was a true Celtic man he would walk away tonight as these performances are absolutely not acceptable.I hope the green brigade make themselves heard down at London road tonight.HH

  3. Hopefully Neil Lennon will resign with a bit of dignity, he will always be a Celtic hero, regarding the players some of them should hold their heads in shame, they have let down the fans, manager and themselves big time. Peter Lawwell and the board must take some of the blame the game of poker with Hibs over the signing of John McGinn which Lawwell lost was the start of the rot. After that it was only a matter of time until Brendan Rodgers was on the way to the English Premier league. The recruitment since then has been a disaster the players signed have been inconsistent at best and rotten at worst. Add to that the attitude of the players already at Celtic who seem to want away is disgraceful. I hope the Celtic support don’t turn on Scott Brown who has been a great and loyal servant to the club and deserves respect. whoever the manager is that comes in he needs our support as he has very hard job ahead of him.

  4. Well, well. So Neil wants pushed now? Neil is partially to blame, even though he knew Rust cun7y would turn up with their tallest, strongest back nine. And simply brush most Hoops attacks away (Playing the long ball, chips into the box) And catch them napping when they attacked Celtics goal.
The Suits won’t sack him, as that would apportion blame mostly on their biscuit tin antics and recruitment. So, blow all the money on a new boss and, some players to fix this before 2021.Or Celtic will not even being bridesmaids next year. All or nothing. Like the Mon and Br years. Covid my arse. Do it. The fans have spoken. As they’re amalgamating outside now.
