NEIL LENNON has an interesting job this Sunday. He has to pick a team he thinks can go out and win the match on trophy day but has to show pragmatism when it comes to resting some of his stars for the Cup Final.

There has been noises this week that the interim Celtic boss could call upon 16-year-old Karamoko Dembele and give him his first Celtic appearance in the final game of the season.

Some Celtic fans are desperate to see the young lad in the flesh but is Sunday too soon for the midfielder? I think so.

Having watched Dembele since he’s been able to play for the reserves and his two games in the Glasgow Cup finals at different ages – it’s clear the bhoy is a talent but he’s not there yet.

It’s vital Celtic manage the players call up to the first team with caution and only bring him through when it’s right and not for the sake of doing it. The 16-year-old could have a big pre-season in the summer, travel with the first team and perhaps look to make the push next season.

There’s absolutely no hurry to bring him through for Saturday and Celtic have enough fringe players who could do with a runout.

Stick Dembele on the bench. Why wait a season, or the next friendly/bounce game. Same goes for Okoflex. Same brush.
