Neil Lennon seemed a bit irritated Celtic fans have not been given the go ahead to come back to the stadiums in small numbers.

The Celtic manager believes the club has been at the forefront of everything positive to get the game back going and is irked Celtic Park plans have been put on ice.

Whatever point the manager was making though was undone by his example of an American football game being played in front of 17k fans.

America’s response to the virus has been very concerning and their willingness to get back fans back to sport is perhaps ill-advised at best.

Celtic have been putting measures and plans in place for a test event but it was never cleared. They now must wait until at least the start of October.

The Glasgow Derby might have a small crowd in for the game, if we’re lucky. Who knows at this point.
