Reports overnight claim Neil Lennon is on the brink of leaving Celtic with crunch talks planned over the exit 48 hours.

The ugly scenes at Celtic park last night were condemned by the club in a statement online. However, while the club investigate middles being thrown at the players, it looks as if the managers future is still up in the air.

Many believed Neil Lennon would have already been gone shortly after the full time whistle on Sunday afternoon, but the Celtic manager showed no signs of quitting in his post-match interviews.
The result and Celtic’s major decline in general has made the Irishman’s departure inevitable.
SunSport is reporting the talks will take place in the next 48 hours on the way forward for the club and Neil Lennon’s departure looks very likely.
The ugly scenes outside Celtic Park should not be condoned. Showing up to protest a manager is fine but there was a minority who crossed the line. If Neil does go it will not be because of these idiots.
