NEIL LENNON is still on the hunt for a new job after his tenure at Celtic came to an end nearly twelve months ago.

The Northern Irishman was hoping to end the 10 months out of management by taking over Ipswich Town.  However, Kieran McKenna has been appointed to manage the side that sits 12th in the English League 1. [sky]

McKenna was part of the backroom team of Jose Mourinho, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and remained in his position when new boss Ralf Rangnick took up his position in November.

Ultimately, Lennon is responsible for Celtic failing to win ten-in-a-row. He has tried to redeem himself and blame other people and how the world was at the time but managing the team the blame is on his head.

In his final season at Celtic the team looked clueless, with the only apparent tactic being to switch wing if we were struggling.

Under Ange, the team is far superior, and actually a joy to watch at times. The board has got lucky with his appointment. If they appointed the wrong man and things could have turned very sour.

  1. Yet another dig at Lenny , it never ends , yes he had his failings last season, well documented, but it’s amazing how many fans have short memories.
