Neil Lennon has told Celtic fans he expects signings and up to three might be coming in within the next two months.

The window opened last week and will stay open to October 5th this year because of the delay. This means Celtic will be well into their season when deadline day comes up.

If the club leave it late, like they have in the past, we could be waiting a while yet before we know who is going to be in our squad for the ten in a row tilt.

Speaking to CelticTV after the Nice game on Thursday night, the Celtic boss admitted he’s happy with the core of his team but wants to add a few.

“We’re hoping to bring in a few more players as we go along. I am happy with the squad in the main and getting Moi over the line is agreat bit of business for us. So there’s continuity there for us going forward. The core group that are here I am very, very pleased with.”

A goalkeeper has to be high on the list of priorities. Right now, Scott Bain is Celtic’s senior keeper. The bhoys have a few reserve goalkeepers they can call on but not ideal going into the ten in a row season.

Fraser Forster deal has stalled and there are online rumours Joe Hart could be the man to replace him.
